Welcome to mtxstarship.com! This is my page dedicated to the absolute best band in the world, the Mr. T Experience! They're a punk band from Berkeley, CA who've been around since 1986. In the time since, they've put out dozens of releases, and every single one is absolutely fabulous. You can see a full list including pictures and lyrics in the discography section. They've also had lots of different members. The current members are Dr. Frank (vocals and guitar), Ted (2nd guitar/keyboards), Bobby (bass), and Jym (drums).

In addition to being a musical and lyrical genius, Dr. Frank is now a published author. The book is called King Dork and it's published under Frank's real name (yes, the secret's out!), Frank Portman. You can order it at Amazon. Barnes and Noble is also carrying it, as are finer booksellers everywhere. I've read it and can vouch for the fact that it's absolutely fantastic. I'm working on some King Dork related content for the site, but in the mean time you can head over to Frank's blog for pointers to interviews, reviews, and songs from the book (yes, the book has songs that go with it, yay!). |
My name's Rebekah. I started this page back in early 1998, and it's slowly evolved into the massive project that it is today. It's not updated very frequently any more due to educational obligations that limit my free time. People still seem to enjoy it though, and it'll be here as long as that's the case.
I currently live in Portland, OR, but am a native Michigander. I have a BS in computer engineering and am currently pursuing my PhD in computer science at Portland State University. If you're curious you can check out my professional website here. I like music, tv, books, beer, watches, hippos, and various other things that don't suck.
