I called up my friend, Chris and asked him if he wanted to
go to the MTX concert that was at The Shelter in Detroit last month with me
and my other friend, Gerald. He said yes, and so I got the tickets on the
Wednesday before the concert. After I got the tickets, I called Chris again
and told him that I got the tickets to the concert. His response was:
"Well, I don't know if I'll be able to go because I'm going on a big road
trip this weekend!" Great! I buy the tickets because now I think I can get
a ride to the concert, and now my ride is going to bail on me! Come Sunday
I was scrambling all over the place to get a ride. Everyone said yes and
then backed out at the last moment. This includes my brother, who wanted to
take me even though he's never heard of MTX and he only listens to rap
music. So I didn't get to go. It sucked.
