Kelley and I got to the show a bit early. We didn't know where to go, so we just stood around for a few minutes outside. Luckilly, Joe came outside (it was freezing out!). We talked to him for a few minutes, then he told us to just go ahead inside and showed us where the door was. MTX were there, so we went to say hi to them. I was wearing my "Punk Republicans" shirt (I'm not a republican or anything, it's just a funny shirt), and Frank actually remembered that I'd been wearing it at the Chicago show the second time I saw them! I was quite amazed.

Not too much later the Parasites arrived, so I went and talked to them for a little bit. A few days earlier, Frank had offered to play a new song for me sometime, so since the club was relatively quiet and nothing was going on, I asked him if now would be a good time. He said that would be fine, and he played me this AWESOME new song. It's called "I Feel For You" and it's really really great (no shock there). He's not sure if it'll be on anything though. I was really happy. Then not to much later, something else really exciting happened! I got to meet Frank's brother! It's amazing, not only do they look alike, but they talk EXACTLY the same! Joel said that one time Frank's brother called their voice mail, and when he heard the message he thought, "Why on earth is Frank calling?!"

The Parasites played, and they were awesome! No surprise there. When they were done, I went to look for this kid Ryan that I thought might be there. Unfortunately, he never showed up. Oh well. I went up front while MTX were setting up, and talked to Kelley a little bit. MTX played and were really great! The crowd was kind of lame though. Even during the Queers!

After MTX finished, I went back to the merch table. I offered to sell for a while, and Jym took me up on my offer. I talked to Geoff for a while, and sold some stuff. At one point one of Frank's brother's friends came over and talked to me for a while. Frank kept coming to check on me to make sure that I didn't mind selling and that everything was going alright. How nice!

The Queers were really great, despite the fact that the crowd was really pissing them off. Joe kept trying to get them to move, they were quite unresponsive though. At one point he said, "The last time I saw a crowd move so little was when I went to a New Hampshire town meeting with my mom!"

After the show I helped the Parasites carry their stuff downstairs. Scott was talking about how some girl told him that he looked old enough to be her dad! That would be bad enough, but when he asked her how old she thought he was, she said 28! It's quite sad really.

We said goodbye to the Parasites, then went back upstairs to help MTX. When we finished bringing everything downstairs, we said goodbye to everyone and left. We had to drive a couple hours to Kelley's cousin's house, which was helpful for the next day, but not very fun that night!
